use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221; el_class=&#8221;manchet&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<p data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1034\">Emballageretur\u2019s environmental fees are determined each year and announced to our members by 1 October.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1036\" data-end=\"1087\">Our environmental fee includes the following costs:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1089\" data-end=\"1528\">\n<li data-start=\"1089\" data-end=\"1214\">\n<p data-start=\"1091\" data-end=\"1214\">The municipalities\u2019 costs for collecting household waste (including costs for planning, communication and administration)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1215\" data-end=\"1329\">\n<p data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1329\">Emballageretur\u2019s costs for handling (transport, sorting and treatment) of packaging waste by material category<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1330\" data-end=\"1437\">\n<p data-start=\"1332\" data-end=\"1437\">Emballageretur\u2019s costs associated with paying compensations to companies for commercial packaging waste<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1438\" data-end=\"1528\">\n<p data-start=\"1440\" data-end=\"1528\">Administrative costs (including security deposits) related to managing packaging waste<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=&#8221;section&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221;][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;An important part of producer responsibility is that it should be financially beneficial for you as a company to use less, better, and lighter packaging for the benefit of the environment and recycling.&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:div|text_align:left&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221; el_class=&#8221;manchet&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<p data-start=\"389\" data-end=\"554\">Therefore, there is a requirement that as a collective scheme we must modulate the fees you pay to us to cover the costs associated with waste handling in Denmark.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"556\" data-end=\"975\">The eco-modulated fees are structured as a bonus\/penalty system. The modulated fee is the price you as a member must pay for handling your packaging waste when you put packaging on the market that ends up in the red level. The modulated fee is +35 % of the operational costs. At Emballageretur, we do <em data-start=\"1386\" data-end=\"1391\">not<\/em> charge a start-up fee when you join.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=&#8221;section&#8221; el_id=&#8221;section6&#8243;][vc_column][vc_row_inner el_class=&#8221;section-content&#8221;][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Annual Fees to the Environmental Protection Agency and Danish Producer Responsibility (DPA)&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<p data-start=\"1529\" data-end=\"1752\">All companies must, in addition to their costs for the collective scheme, also pay annual fees to <strong data-start=\"1627\" data-end=\"1652\">Dansk Producentansvar<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1661\" data-end=\"1696\">Environmental Protection Agency<\/strong>. Emballageretur does <em data-start=\"1718\" data-end=\"1723\">not<\/em> collect these annual fees.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1754\" data-end=\"1902\">New members must also pay a registration fee to Danish
